Open Forum Gdańsk – Summary of an inspiring discussion
Yesterday, during the Open Forum in Gdańsk, our CEO, Dominik Popiel, participated in a panel focused on organizational culture adapted to changing times. The event gathered practitioners and theorists, representatives from various industries, who shared their ideas and experiences.
Participants discussed how the collaboration among generations X, Y, and Z impacts company growth and whether differences in work style, experience, and approach to technology can be a source of success. It has been noted that organizations do not have a single culture; rather, each consists of many smaller team cultures that together create the workplace atmosphere. The conversation also addressed how a flexible culture can support adaptation to changing market conditions, fostering creativity and innovation within the company. A well-organized structure of processes is the foundation for a company’s survival and competitive advantage, especially in times of crisis. Experts agreed that organizational culture must be closely aligned with the business purpose. A healthy culture is founded on transparency, clearly defined goals, and effective communication. It is essential to adapt organizational culture to the team, avoiding the imposition of artificial patterns.
There was also reflection on the role of leaders in integrating generations and inspiring teams to take action. Effective management of diverse teams was noted to require leaders not only to be adaptable but also to motivate and create an environment conducive to collaboration. Authentic leaders and generational diversity are key to fostering engagement and trust within an organization. The importance of encouraging employees toward self-development and its positive impact on company growth was also highlighted.
The meeting was an inspiring exchange of ideas that will undoubtedly find application in our organization’s future development strategies.
