During the finals, the participants solved tasks in the field of transport, forwarding and logistics, which were prepared by the Main Olympic Committee, consisting of experts from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdansk.

In addition to the material and financial prizes and the exemption from the theoretical part of the professional examination, the Olympiad finalists had the opportunity to receive index cards from the Faculty of Economics at Gdansk University.

We are very pleased to be able to support the organisers of the Olympiad once again with the funding of the prize for the first place, which was presented by our Vice-President Małgorzata Lepa to the winner – Konrad Kożuch.

This year, we have also decided to make a contribution of substance – Magdalena Lepa-Roman, our Maritime Forwarding Manager, told the participants of the Olympiad about the work of a forwarding agent. During her presentation, she discussed topics such as: what is important when working as a forwarding agent, what the forwarding process looks like in the export and import mode, she also talked about unforeseen difficulties in a complicated shipping process.

We are delighted to be able to contribute to the development of the future workforce in the freight forwarding industry. Huge congratulations to all of the finalists!
