The most important element of Nautiqus’ digital strategy is the STORM system – a proprietary IT programme for freight forwarding, based on electronic data interchange (EDI) between supply chain participants. The STORM system offers customers a wide range of functions that simplify and speed up the forwarding service. The customer dashboard allows users to have a complete overview of their documents, eliminating the need for paper circulation. Generating transport orders, obtaining quotes and invoices are all done with a single click, significantly saving valuable time.
Advanced EDI communication offers quite a few possibilities, including the ability to automatically obtain IE599 and IE529 messages (confirmation of export) after the departure of the ship, as well as tracking the current position of the goods. This makes logistics processes more transparent and efficient.
